2018-Oct-29 : COST Action Circular City kicks off successfully in Brussels!
We are pleased to announce that the COST Action network was formally started on 22 October 2018 in Brussels with the first management committee meeting!

The main aim and objective of the Action is to build an interdisciplinary platform for connecting city planners, architects, system designers, economists, engineers and researchers from social and natural sciences that develop nature-based solutions in the urban landscape that facilitate circular economies based on the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recover) and allow cities to cope with future challenges.
The main outcome will be a guideline on combined nature-based solutions (NBS) and circular economy (CE) possibilities within the urban environment.

The Memorandum of Understanding of the COST Action was presented as well as the working groups structure.

Katrin Bohn is one of the two management committee members representing Great Britain in COST Action “Circular City”. André Viljoen is Katrin’s substitute and one of four substitutes representing Great Britain, and it was André who attended this meeting.
